Benedikt Hellsberg

Cello

Benedikt Hellsberg, born in 1994, started his musical journey at the age of eight when he received his first cello lessons from Cecilia Ottensamer at Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. In the autumn of 2013, Benedikt transitioned to the class of Robert Nagy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Seeking further growth and development, he joined the class of Othmar Müller at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in September 2014, where he received his diploma in June 2019. During the seasons of 2019/20 to 2021/22, Benedikt was an academic member of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. In
September 2022, he became a member of the Orchestra of the Volksoper Vienna.
