Natan Zlodre

Natan Zlodre (1996) began playing the guitar in 2007 under the guidance of Prof. Zoran Melvan at the Jakov Gotovac Music School in Sinj. He completed three grades of high school at the Pavle Markovac Music School in Zagreb, studying with Prof. Xhevdet Sahatxhija. In 2014, he continued his education with Prof. Goran Listeš at the Pavle Markovac Music School in Zagreb, where he graduated with honors in 2015. He studied at the Art Academy in Split, in the class of Prof. Goran Listeš, and started collaborating with Prof. Lukasz Kuropaczewski (Poland), with whom he completed his undergraduate studies at the I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznań. He obtained his master's degree in 2022 at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (Netherlands), studying under Prof. Pavel Steidl. Currently, he works as a professor at the Jakov Gotovac Music School in Sinj and regularly performs
recitals as well as being a member of chamber ensembles.

Natan has received numerous awards throughout student career, including the Matica hrvatska award (2011/2012), three consecutive awards from the city of Sinj (2009, 2010, 2011), an award at the 17th International Youth Music Competition for Lions Grand Prix, one of the three awardees in the Concert Cycle mo.Vinko Lesić for the 2016/2017 season, and the 1st prize at the 18th International Music Competition for the Grand Prix of Paris for Virtuosity in France (2019). During his education, Natan was awarded 20 first prizes at national and international competitions for young musicians.

He has performed in various prestigious venues such as the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Croatian Music Institute, Euphrasian Basilica, Prica Gallery in Samobor, Bersa Brothers Hall in Zadar, Philharmonie de Paris (France), Oak Music Room in Oxford (United Kingdom), Fogar Hall (Italy), Theater in Kolin (Czech Republic), Knight's Hall in Maribor (Slovenia), Kromberk Castle (Slovenia), Guitar House in Ronda (Spain), and the Kursalon in Vienna (Austria). He has been a recipient of scholarships from the Marjan Club (2011) and the Split- Dalmatia County (2013, 2016). In October 2013, the President of Matica hrvatska, Igor Zidić, awarded him a certificate of appreciation for his achievements and collaboration. Natan has also perfprmed in events such as the Week of Guitar Virtuosos in Supetar, Night of Museums, Night of Books, Days of Guitar in Zagreb, Days of Classical Guitar in Split, and events organized by the Croatian Fine Arts Society, Croatian Composers' Society, Croatian Olympic Committee, among others. He has been a guest on Croatian Radio and Television programs.

In 2014, Natan received the annual Award for Young Guitarist from the Lions International Club. In 2017, he was awarded the Special Rector's Award from the University of Split for his artistic achievements. In 2019, he became one of the artists of the Open Strings Berlin platform (Germany). In 2020, he released his debut album "Guitar Impressions" under the record label and production company Orpheus Classical (USA).

Natan is a member of the Duo Vermeer, along with Spanish guitarist Silvia Escamilla Jimenez, formed during their master's studies in The Hague (Netherlands). They regularly collaborate with Prof. Pavel Steidl and attend chamber music classes with Prof. Zoran Dukić. Currently, they are participants in the Master's program in chamber music at the Universitat für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz (Austria) under the guidance of Prof. Petrit Çeku.

As an active participant, Natan has attended masterclasses with leading guitarists and educators such as Zoran Dukić, Aniello Desiderio, Manuel Barrueco, Paolo Pegoraro, Judicael Perroy, Marco Tamayo, Thomas Müller- Pering, Goran Krivokapić, Costas Cotsiolis, Gabriel Bianco, Anton Baranov, Petrit Çeku, and others.
